For an arrival date and weight pool!
This post has been dated to remain at the top of the page. If you don't read me via RSS feed, please scroll down for the new entries. Thanks!
Miabird kindly reminded me that I haven't started a pool yet, and with my belly reaching roughly the proportions of a medicine ball, it probably is time!
So here is how it works: Leave a comment with your guess as to Ella's birthdate and weight upon arrival. The closest to reality wins a prize! I am not sure of what the prize is, but it will be something prizeful. I promise.
PS For those who don't know... my due date (according to the doctor) is around Feb 28. They have moved it around a couple times, up to the 24th, back to the 27th, up to the 20th, back to the 25th.... Im sticking with the original one. And hoping she arrives early!

7 lbs 9 oz on Feb 23 between noon and 5 pm :)
Hmmm...how about February 29, 8 lbs? (Although earlier is preferred, a leap day birthday would be cool!)
Feb. 14, because I am a sap.
At 5 or 6 pm, because I don't think you should have to labor all night and that's when most people's 'labor' ends anyway. (See, I'm wishing you a short labor! starting no earlier than 6 am at the longest.) *love*
7lbs. 11oz, because Ella's taking up a lot of room, but also because I am not cruel. (I was 8^14 and my baby brother well over 9--the scale only went up to 9 lbs, and it hit before the midwife even got him all the way on it!)
And may she "pop out like toothpaste", as my baby brother said about our sister when she was born.
Let's go with the 28th of Feb since that is the best day of the month :) And I'll say 7 lbs, 13 oz.
hmmmm lets seee, i say feb. 18
sometime in the evening, and baby ella will weigh 6lbs 14 oz.
how does that sound.
good luck :)
March 3rd
8lbs 1oz
3:10 p.m
OH, I'm thinking the 29th would be down right funny. Didn't I say something about that when you first found out?
hmm, weight? 7 lbs (because that just seems normal) and ohh, 2 oz? hehe, I have no idea, but can hardly wait to find out ;)
Let's go for the day before your due date, February 26 (her Grandpa's BD) just before midnight!
Weight? Hmm. 8 lbs.
Feb 27th, just after 1 AM....
ANd I ain't guessin the weight because I thought I was haulin around a 7 pounder and Mouse was less than 6! I guess I STILL don't have that intuition thing down!
I say March 6th cuz our family usually has the first baby two weeks late....Sorry honey! As for weight how about 8lbs 2ozs. I will have to remember this just incase :-)!
Our friend JenG can't post comments, so she sent me this to be added:
"I say 6lbs 8oz on feb 21st. that's my guess! I'll probably be way off but it's still my guess regardless! lol!"
ok, here is my official "guess"...
Feb. 22, 7 lbs, 12 oz...born around 7:30pm.
That will give me plenty of time to hop on a plane and get down there to see her! or, uh, you too I guess...
February 25. 7:45 p.m. 8lb 5oz.
I think the big day will happen around 2:00 a.m. on March 1. I think Ella will be 7 lbs 5 oz.
How exciting!!! A girl! I just found that out. We need more girls around - everyone else seems to be having boys. :)
Grandma tried to send this and it wouldn't let her, so here is her official vote!
On the 24th of Feb, between 3 and 7 am. She says that she's going with my mama's birthweight, 8 lbs 1 oz.
Hubband says:
February 11
7 lbs 9 oz
So many people have picked the 29th that you must be groaning! I will take Monday, Feb 25th. Weight? About 8lbs, give or take a couple of ounces. Tee hee.
Love,
Ronnie
Ok, here's my guess.
March 3
