Pour 6 cups of dry cereal (best with rice krispies or special k) into a large bowl. Bring 1 cup sugar and 1 cup corn syrup to a boil and add 1 cup peanut butter. Pour over cereal and mix well. Press mixture into a buttered pan. In the microwave or double boiler, melt 1 cup butterscotch pieces and 1 cup of chocolate chips together, then pour over the top of the cereal mixture and smooth. Chill or let cool until the chocolate sets.
I just posted this on my kitchen site, too, but it bears repeating! It's a family recipe the my MIL taught me. Someone mentioned rice krispie bars so Im craving them now. I'm sitting at my desk with a dog in my lap which makes clear typing nearly impossible. However, do I move her? no! Of course not! hehe

Does this mean you are going to make some for Saturday or are you hinting that I should? :)
Mmmmmmm. Scotcheroos. Haven't had one in years! I miss them sometimes. Sigh. So life has settled down a bit?
